Who is luring with the cheesy Chicken Fajita Pizza? In ancient times, ancient cultures produced flatbreads with several toppings, from than pizza is discovered. It is basically an Italian dish, which was evolved as modern pizzas in the 19th or early 19th century.

Homemade pizzas are one of the most demanding recipes of all, because whenever you just say “PIZZA” all kids, young and old will show up at your door ready to eat. Many best memories of my life revolve around pizza parties, whether it is about to stay at home or going to a restaurant, and all above of them, Chicken Fajita is the most liked one.

Chicken Fajita Pizza is so fit-fabulous and easy to make that you won’t just limit yourself to a slice. Simple bread topped up with chicken, oregano, mushrooms, onion, tomatoes, capsicum, red bell pepper julienne, and a lot of melted mozzarella cheese makes each bite a heavenly piece of the pie.

Ingredients:

For Dough:

  • ¾ cup lukewarm water
  • 2 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Instant Yeast
  • 2 cup sifted all-purpose flour
  • ½ tablespoon Salt
  • 1-2 tablespoon water
  • 2 tablespoon Olive oil

Chicken Filling:

  • 2-3 tablespoon cooking oil
  • 300 gms chicken strips
  • 1 tablespoon Garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon or to taste Salt
  • Red Chili powder 2 tablespoon
  • 1 & ½ crushed red chili
  • 0.5 to 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 1 & ½ tablespoon lemon juice
  • ½ cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1 medium sliced onion
  • ½ cup julienne capsicum
  • ¼ cup red bell pepper julienne

Assembling:

  • ¼ cup Pizza sauce or as required
  • ½ cup grated mozzarella cheese or as required
  • ½ cup grated cheddar cheese or as required
  • Few Black olives

Directions:

Dough Preparation:

  • Take a small jug, add lukewarm water, sugar, instant yeast, and mix well cover, and let it rest for 10 minutes.
  • Take a bowl, add all-purpose flour, salt and mix them
  • Add yeast mixture in it and mix well
  • Add water; mix well again and again until the dough is formed

Chicken Fajita Pizza

  • Add Olive oil and knead again, cover it and rest it for 1-2 hour

Chicken Filling:

  • Take a frying pan, add cooking oil, chicken strips and mix well until it changes its color to light golden
  • Add garlic powder, salt, red chili powder, red chili crushed and dried oregano, mix them well and cook it for 2-3 minutes
  • Add lemon juice and mix
  • Now add mushrooms in it and cook for 2 minutes
  • Add onion, capsicum, red bell pepper and stir it for 2 minutes and set aside
  • Grease your hands with oil and knead the dough again until smooth, sprinkle all-purpose flour and divide the dough into two equal parts (approximately 200gms each) and roll out dough with the help of rolling pin (approximately 12 inches)

Assembling:

  • Place rolled dough on the pizza pan and prick with a fork
  • Add and spread pizza sauce, add the cooked chicken filling, mozzarella cheese, cheddar cheese, and black olives
  • Makes 2 regular pizzas with all this material
  • Bake at 200 C for 15 minutes in preheated oven

Some Point to Ponder:

  • The recipe will make enough of 2 regular pizzas or one large chicken fajita
  • Be sure to use a slotted spoon to scoop up the chicken and peppers so you don’t have too much liquid on top of the pizza dough; if so your dough will take more time in baking and maybe swampy
  • If you have shredded chicken leftover which you need to use, just mix onions, peppers, capsicum, oregano, and mushrooms with that leftover and use that mixture to top your pizza with
  • Squeezing of lime on the topping is a good feeling though

  • Oregano: basically a herb is beneficial for cancer cells, it reduces the growth as well as it is high in antioxidants and may fight off with bacteria
  • Mushroom: contains protein and fiber also as B-complex vitamin which helps to support system and stop damage to cells and tissue
  • Onions: contain compounds that fight inflammation and reduce cholesterol levels, thanks to which attack risk decreases
  • Capsicum: the best source of vitamin A, C, and E
  • Chicken: rich in protein, which helps in muscle growth and development also nearly as good for the heart

You can eat different kinds of vegetables easily topped on your pizza which you do not like to eat separately. Fresh vegetable topping contains a lot of minerals, vitamins, fiber, and antioxidants.
